An account that is available to any competent person seeking to save and manage his money. Basic banking services are provided to the owners of these accounts.

 

Target Group:

Any competent natural person holding a Palestinian or Jerusalemite identification card and does not have an active, frozen, or joint account at any banks operating in Palestine.

 

Account Benefits:

  • Opening the account without any fees or commissions.
  • No minimum balance is required for opening the account.
  • Offers the following basic banking services:
  1. Direct cash deposit and withdrawal through ATMs.
  2. Deposit cheques for collection.
  3. Online banking services.
  4. Send and receive money transfers locally and internationally.
  • Issue an ATM card without issuance or usage fees, and without any commissions on ATM usage when using machines holding the national key 194.
  • Free SMS services, online banking services, and mobile bank..

 

Conditions for Opening an Account:

  • The ceiling for the total value of credit transactions (including cash deposits, cheques, and incoming money transfers) in the account per month is 2,000 US dollars or its equivalent in other currencies, and no more than 12,000 dollars annually or its equivalent in other traded currencies.
  • In case the value of the credit transactions for the account exceeds the maximum amount specified above, then the Bank has the right to:
  1. Transfer the Financial Inclusion account to a current or savings account after obtaining the client's approval and receiving all the additional supporting documents needed depending on the nature and requirements of the new account that the client will be transferred to.
  2. Reject performing any transactions that exceed the specified ceiling until the account status is rectified.

 

Requirements:

  • Personal identification card (ID)

 

Closing an existing account:

The Bank has the right to close an account if the client fails to commit to the terms and conditions applicable to the account, provided that the client is informed of the closure.
