As part of its commitment to empowering Palestinian youth and supporting their career development, Safa Bank took part in the annual Career Day organized by the Arab American University in Jenin. The event, held under the patronage of the Jenin Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture, brought together over 50 companies and institutions from across the West Bank. It aimed to connect final-year students and recent graduates with potential employers and professional opportunities.
The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Dr. Bara’ Asfour, Acting President of the University, Mr. Ammar Abu Bakr, Head of the Jenin Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Laila Herzallah, Assistant to the University President for Community Affairs, in addition to faculty members, administrative staff, and representatives from participating institutions. The Career Day kicked off with a tour of the company booths to explore the available opportunities for students.
During the event, Safa Bank introduced visitors to its range of Islamic banking services and financial products. The Bank also showcased its internship and recruitment programs designed specifically for university students and fresh graduates, helping them gain hands-on experience and prepare for future careers in the banking sector.
Safa Bank’s team was available on-site to answer students’ questions and offer insights into the nature of work in the banking industry, including the skills and qualifications needed to succeed in the field.
This participation reflects Safa Bank’s dedication to investing in the next generation by bridging the gap between academic education and the professional world, equipping youth with the tools they need to thrive in today’s competitive job market
