Safa Bank participated in the 24th AAOIFI Annual Sharia Boards Conference, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain with the support of the Central Bank of Bahrain. The Bank was represented at the conference by Dr. Khaled Al-Qasem, Board Member, and Mr. Hatem Arainat, General Manager.

The conference is considered one of the leading specialized gatherings in the Islamic finance industry, bringing together distinguished Sharia scholars, representatives of central banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities to discuss the key developments and challenges facing the Islamic finance industry.

The conference addressed a number of specialized topics, including aligning Sharia standards with legal systems, estimating the actual direct cost of lending, syndicated financing, the impact of emerging circumstances on contracts and financial obligations, as well as compensation for commitment and its applications.
