As part of its ongoing efforts to promote Islamic banking awareness and promote specialized Islamic financial knowledge, Safa Bank organized a training course for students majoring in Islamic Economics and Finance at Al-Quds University in Abu Dis. The course spanned two days, with six hours of training each day.
The training covered the Sharia-compliant structuring of Islamic banking products in practical settings, the risks associated with Islamic banking operations, as well as the various deposits and banking services offered by the bank to its clients. The course aimed to bridge academic knowledge with practical experience, enabling students to understand the nature of Islamic banking and the challenges it faces.
Safa Bank emphasized that such initiatives are part of its vision to raise banking awareness and fulfill its social responsibility by supporting education and financial literacy for the younger generation, preparing future professionals capable of contributing to the development of the Islamic banking sector in Palestine.
At the conclusion of the course, Dr. Nasser Abu Al-Saud of Al-Quds University praised Safa Bank’s role in supporting students and enhancing their practical knowledge. He also commended the bank’s level of services and its contribution to developing awareness of Islamic banking. University representatives presented a commemorative shield to the bank in recognition of its efforts in the successful implementation of this initiative and strengthen joint cooperation between both parties.
