Mr. Mohammad Barakat has more than thirteen years of professional experience in accounting, banking operations, treasury and investment.

He began his banking career with Arab Bank – Palestine, where he spent six years working across both the Operations and Treasury divisions. He joined Safa Bank in 2016 as Senior Treasury Dealer and subsequently progressed to lead the Treasury and Investment Department.

Mr. Barakat holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in financial and Banking Sciences, with honors, from Birzeit University. He also holds the internationally recognized ACI Dealing Certificate and the ACI Diploma – Certified Market Professional (CMP®), awarded with distinction by the ACI Financial Markets Association.

Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous regional conferences and specialized executive programs covering investment management, liquidity management, financial markets, technical analysis and digital assets.
